Welcoming over 250,000 visitors each year, the Seymour produces and presents major performances from local and international artists, and champions learning through a comprehensive Arts Education program.

The Seymour also enlivens Sydney’s artistic life through presenting partnerships with large-scale cultural events such as Sydney Festival, Sydney Writers’ Festival and Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras.

Personal health

If you’re feeling unwell, please don’t visit.

If you can, consider driving to the venue to minimise crowding on public transport.

Contact tracing

The Seymour is required by law to collect patron details for contact tracing purposes. If you're visiting with a group, only one group member needs to register their details. There will be QR codes displayed at the front door, and you'll be able to scan the code using your smartphone, follow the prompts and register your details.

Physical distancing

Please queue where indicated, don’t congregate in the foyer, stay in your designated seat in the theatre, and in all other instances maintain a 1.5 metre distance if possible.

To help minimise contact, all Seymour tickets are now delivered as e-tickets via email.

Please use contactless payment wherever possible. Contactless options are available at the Seymour Box Office and all food and beverage outlets.

Personal belongings

The Seymour does not have a cloakroom. Please only bring a small bag, able to be stored under your seat.
