Australian Design Centre & Griffin Theatre Company
Australian Design Centre presents two events as part of Sydney Festival, the exhibition Happy Objects and theatre work Window, Cricket Bat which requires registration using the link below.
25 November 2021 to 27 January 2022 11am–4pm Tue–Sat
Happy Objects is a celebration of the value of objects in our lives and celebrates a commitment to keeping objects longer, appreciating their beauty and stories, and embracing their function. Happy objects are often not new, sometimes chipped and imperfect. Perhaps they are reactionary – changing our view of what constitutes value in a world fixated with consuming more. We keep them because they have a story or function, however small, that brings us a little joy.
No bookings required.
